Making good the pledge to contribute to charity and to repay society, the Chevalier Group has, year after year, given a hand to those in need.
Over the years, the Group has actively participated in many community and charitable events for the benefits of Hong Kong people. Believing that it is people who make the difference, Chevalier strives to cultivate new talents and enrich educational opportunities in Hong Kong and Mainland China by sponsoring facilities, granting scholarships and financing educational programs of all kinds. In addition, Chevalier has established the "Chevalier Culture & Education Foundation" which fosters cultural, academic, artistic and educational exchanges between mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao through a wide variety of events.
Being a leader in the environmental engineering industry, Chevalier has utilized its professional skills, services and resources, to develop many major wastewater treatment, air treatment as well as solid waste treatment and disposal projects, with the aims to improve the quality of life for Hong Kong citizens and to enhance people's awareness of environmental protection from all walks of life.
The Group's contribution to the community has earned for Chevalier the appreciation from the public. Dr Y C Chow, Chairman of the Group was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star of year 2004 by the Government of the HKSAR for his great contribution to the commercial sector, his passion in educating the young generation, as well as his enthusiasm in promoting the commercial and cultural ties between Hong Kong and other countries.
Chevalier will continue to be devoted to serving the community and repaying society.
