Project Manager (Project Development Department) (Ref. No.: PDD/PM)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business partners, main contractor, consultants and relevant parties, to coordinate, monitor and supervise property development projects in high quality and within work schedule
  • Be responsible for overall management and supervision of construction works and associated sub-contracts coordination, in particular on their performance on work progress, planning of site activities, management of consultants and contractors, logistic, safety and health, environment control, workmanship and quality etc.
  • Coordinate and negotiate with other in-house Project Manager, project consultants (Architects, E&M Engineers, Landscape Architect, etc.) and other related parties for site work management
  • Ensure that consultants’ designs, plans, and other deliverable meet the Company's standards for cost effectiveness, quality, scheduling, and environmental impact
  • Resolve main contractor site problem and review the site progress/workmanship
  • Develop, manage and monitor project plans including project programme, project organization chart, scope statement, constraints, assumptions, major milestones, schedule, resources requirements, procurement plans and risks management
  • Monitor and execute budget control on development and project costs
  • For overseas project, will work with local team and consultants and perform similar duties as above and need to travel (when pandemic situation allows)

Requirements

  • Degree or above in Architecture
  • Professional qualification such as HKIA or equivalent
  • 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in property development
  • Conversant with government regulations particularly in building control
  • Concept and knowledge in project management software tools including AutoCAD, MS project and PowerPoint is preferred
  • Good communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, mature, independent and be a good team player
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Priority will be given to applicants who have overseas experience or qualifications, but not a must
